Osteoarthritis is classified as the most prevalent joint disorder, especially in middle-aged and elderly people, and is therefore seen as one of the ten most disabling diseases in developed countries.1
Current osteoarthritis management strategies focus on pain relief, function improvement, and quality of life maintenance.
