Reporting directly to the Commercial Head, you ensure the expansion of the business of TRB by creating and expanding growth opportunities for and beyond the current organization and product lines.
Develop, propose and implement growth strategies and plans to increase the value of TRB;
Identify, evaluate and create access to relevant new income (in particular a new product pipeline) for TRB, giving priority to corporate deals, but also individual countries;
Negotiate, create and close business deals in close collaboration with relevant central departments (R&D, Medical, Marketing, Legal, Supply, Reg. Affairs) as well as teams in international markets;
Negotiate in- as well as out-licensing agreements beyond deal signature until the first order placed. This includes assisting affiliates with expertise in key negotiations for the in-licensing of products;
Propose, and if needed, implement the creation of new processes to generate sustained growth for TRB;
Assist in the formulation of international trade opportunities (eCommerce, trade label, congresses) as well as suitable pricing strategies;
Stay abreast of the industry and key market developments and provide regular impulse to management regarding key market trends and recommended action
Manage and retain relationships with existing and new key partners and clients;
Draft and review relevant contracts in close cooperation with legal;
Support R&D to deploy a mid- to long-term (New Product) strategy and support;
Work with all in- and external key stakeholders of TRB, be it management of all levels, business representatives or owners, associations, authorities, banks or other key stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Science;
Strong commercial skills and experience of minimum 5, preferably 10 years in New Product, Business Development and/or Marketing department of a pharmaceutical or MD company;
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty;
Ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities;
Excellent analytical as well as organizational skills;
An emotionally intelligent individual, able to convince and manoeuver the specifics of a family-owned setup;
A positive leader who can generate high involvement in a flat organization, based on his/her competency;
An individual, able to create support through fact-based argumentation but who can also generate enthusiasm and passion through his/her positive “can do” attitude:
Able to follow-through projects, tracking progress and identifying and solving potential issues and stoppers;
Board proof – able to effectively present and convince on a Board and General Management level;
Used to write short, yet complete business proposals;
Weathered communication skills, IT savvy;
Positive, upbeat personality, curious, pioneering, with an eye on securing the possible;
Very good English skills, all other major languages are a strong plus.
