The French Ministry of Health granted partial reimbursement of VISMED^®, a sterile solution containing 0.18% sodium hyaluronate for ophthalmic use in the symptomatic treatment of ocular dryness. VISMED^® is the only sodium hyaluronate-based lubricant eye drops to be reimbursed in France.

For a longer lasting relief

VISMED^® gel is a preservative-free viscoelastic solution for sustained lubrication of the eyes in case of sensations of dryness, burning or ocular fatigue induced by environmental conditions, extended computer screen use, contact lens wear or by ophthalmological screening methods.

VISMED^® gel is a patented hypotonic formulation that contains both 0.30% sodium hyaluronate, a natural polymer which is also present in the structures of human eyes, and most of the essential ions that are present in natural tears.

VISMED^® gel is available in boxes of 20 (or 60) single dose units of 0.45 ml.
