The French Ministry of Health granted partial reimbursement of VISMED^®, a sterile solution containing 0.18% sodium hyaluronate for ophthalmic use in the symptomatic treatment of ocular dryness. VISMED^® is the only sodium hyaluronate-based lubricant eye drops to be reimbursed in France.

VISMED^® is available in box of 20 single doses units of 0.3 ml at the recommended public price of EUR 10. Recently VISMED^® multi 10 ml multi dose container has been reimbursed at the price of EUR 12.
